Laura Ketcham, Client Relations and Marketing Specialist
The exercise of self reflection has always been important in my life. I have discovered the effectiveness of therapy as a ‘preventative maintenance’ tool instead of a last resort and have benefitted immensely from therapy throughout different stages in my life. I realize, first hand, the courage it takes to try new ways of operating in order to be your best self, so I am honored to be the first voice you may hear when you are ready to take the next step.
“Beautiful people do not just happen.”Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
My ultimate hope is that I can help direct you to the best fitting therapist for your unique situation and will work hard at making you feel comfortable from the moment you reach out.
I live in Allen, TX with my husband, Doug, our two dogs, one cat and one foster dog. I love gardening in my backyard, and having patio dates with Doug and our puppies. Music rejuvenates me and I try to go to a concert every few months, if possible. I enjoy volunteering with a non-profit, Womens Silence Alliance, in McKinney TX, where I am proud to be an advocate for those affected by domestic and sexual abuse.
I attended Collin college for Early Childhood Education and The Art Institute of Dallas for Fine Art and Graphic Design. I was the managing marketing director for Ace Pet Resort and also managed a local veterinary clinic. I am currently enjoying the growth of my new business, Bright Space Solutions, where I declutter and organize spaces that no longer feel fabulous. It feels amazingly therapeutic!
Please reach out to me if you have any questions about The Montfort Group, our therapists or the counseling process, in general. I look forward to speaking with you!
